BOOKING info
Hello! Thank you so much for the interest in my work! Just a few housekeeping things to get in order, before we discuss booking you in for a tattoo!
In order to secure your appointment/design with me, there is a non-refundable $150 deposit, which will go towards the final price of your tattoo. The deposit will be subtracted from the final cost of your tattoo upon our last session. This deposit will be collected by our Front Desk team via email/phone once this email consultation is finalized.
This booking period is for appointments in Toronto only, at Hurt/Comfort Tattoos and is for the period of June 2024 to January 2025. If your request is accepted, you will not be permitted to switch appointments to an alternate location if a later guest spot is announced. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
For custom pieces and/or large pieces, please be prepared to have a phone or in-person consultation.
For custom pieces, I will present a design draft around 2-3 days before our appointment, and have a strict one revision policy. If you require more revisions, that may result in our appointment being postponed, or cancelled, should it become apparent that I may not be the right artist to execute your idea. Due to this, please be as specific and settled on your idea as possible before booking.
Changing your idea completely after we have confirmed our appointment will result in the cancellation of our appointment, and a loss of deposit. I reserve the right to decline the project/appointment at any time, should it become apparent that our artist/client relationship is not working out. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
Projects will not be chosen via first come first serve so please take your time in filling out the proposal form. Unfortunately due to the expected volume of inquiries, it will it will not be possible for me to take on every project. Projects will be selected based on the subject, and if it is that I am currently interested in creating with you. When possible, I will do my best to recommend other artists that I think would be a better fit for your project.
I will not do tattoos that are exact copies of existing tattoos/tattoo designs by other artists, unless you explicitly have the artist’s permission. You may send existing tattoos as examples of what you are looking for. Exceptions will be well known symbols from media, screencaps from cartoons/anime etc. If you are unsure please ask!
If I don’t email you right away, it’s probably because I am overloaded on emails at the moment, and haven’t had the time to! Please allow 2-3 weeks for me to respond (if after 3 weeks you have not heard back from me, please feel free to email our Shop Manager Nikki). I will also do my best to keep the status of submission response updated on my Instagram. Rest assured, every proposal will be responded to, regardless of if I am able to take on the project or not.
All designs are started after a deposit has been made, and to be strictly tattooed by me, not another artist.
